News - Flexible hoses vs loading arms


A new application has been recently made with Matec's Flexible hoses for an application where, till now, has always been used Rigid Loading arms, equipped with Swivel Joints.
The application was engineered for a bottom loading of Rail and Road Tankers for Hydrocarbons, fuels and GPL, in three different locations in the same terminal. Two out of the three has been equipped with Composite Flexible hoses COMPOTEC® OIL 800 e CHEM 700, while the third one has been equipped with Flexible metal hoses type ENCO® PARRAP.
All hoses has been assembled with Quick Disconnect safety NODROP fittings, that will guarantee safety and reliablility. The application of Flexible Matec® hoses, permitted a great save in economic terms, in comparison to the traditional Loading arms, improving at the same time the efficiency, the reliability and the flexibility.
