Designed for loading or unloading of products where traditional external insulation is not enough, Twinflex hoses are two coaxial hoses built in: the inner hose in conveyng the fluid, the external one is conveying the heating or refrigerating medium.
Other primary functiones of this hose are also loading or unloading of thick and viscous products where it’s necessary to keep the product at high temperature to improve the fluidity and the transfer of dangerous products where it’s necessary the maximum safety of non contamination in case of accidental leakage.
For a safety application, a leak detector sensor is connected to the external hose, so that in case of leakage of the inner hose, the sensor will display it.
Twinflex hoses are used in the chemical industry, pharmaceutical industry, for the construction of machinery for transfer of viscous fluids or sensitive to temperature changes, as: Bitumen, Waxes, Paraffin, Fats, Oils, Synthetic Resins, Phtalic Acid, Polyester, Fatty Acids, Phenol, Explosive Products, Thermoplastics, Chocolate.
